I worked with PJ and he really saved my a$$ after I got involved with a horrible contractor (don’t ask me how that happened… Long story) but he really messed up our kitchen and bathroom plumbing so bad that another broker said he couldn’t help me, they even called my home “unlivable condition” based on the property report. well let me tell you it was brutal but I lived there the whole time, PJ got me a short term home equity loan from a company called hesper and that gave us enough time to work with a new contractor who fixed up the mess and then PJ finally got me approved with a lender I had never heard of…. Optimum… And no, they are not affiliated with Shoppers drug mart, I checked. At least the rate was better than my previous bank mortgage and finally my new kitchen is “livable”

We just completed a transaction with Juno. We dealt with Renat. I checked around before I went with Juno and ended up making my decision on how interactive my Broker was since you need someone you can rely on for requirements and ppwk. My only recommendation I have is if you go with them; use their lawyer instead of your own. I think it would have been much more streamlined if I have done that instead of outside counsel. Lots of back and forth that could have been avoided. Overall, we are pleased with the service we received.
